About this Product
A Grade Crushed Rock is a specialised mixture produced to meet the standards set out by Vicroads as the basiss for roadways in the state. It is also used as a base for pathways and driveways, and as a supporting material for pipe laying.
When used as the underlying surface for high traffic areas such as roadways and driveways, its inherent stability and ability to be highly compact allows it to be used for supporting other materials such as asphalt, concrete and pavers. This helps reduce effects such as cracking and breakage.
When used as the base for pipe laying, it provides the stability needed to prevent the pipes from shifting, as well as adequate drainage when needed.
