About this Product
Redgum Chips are a normal by-product of hardwood processing at timber mills and are often used in decorative landscaping areas. Besides the red coloring being aesthetically pleasing, the mulch itself protects the soil underneath and discourages the growth of weeds. It also has the additional properties of being able to trap moisture contributing to the water retention of the underlying soil.
The chips are 20 - 40mm in size and they add a flair to any landscape gardening. The chips have even been known to be used in smoking and barbecuing where they produce a delightful scent and add a smoky flavour to the meats.
